Luncheon fundraiser was a success

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Moriches Bay Garden Club had its annual fundraiser luncheon and basket auction. Alex Calamia, News 12 meteorologist and garden expert, spoke to our club about many exotic plants, especially those from his own garden. We enjoyed his knowledge and passion for horticulture, the delicious lunch, meeting new friends, beautiful basket donations and a fun afternoon. We look forward to next year’s event, which will be our 53rd year of our club. New members are always welcome.
