Vaccination POD to be hosted at William Floyd this week

Posted

Suffolk County will offer a COVID-19 vaccine point of distribution on Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at William Floyd High School.

County volunteers will provide doses of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. All residents 18 and older may receive this vaccine.

The Suffolk County Police Department EMS will be administering the vaccines at the Mastic Beach site. The EMS has served at many other County-sponsored vaccine PODs.

Those who sign up for the vaccine may receive a text or email to pre-register for the event one day prior to vaccine distribution.
