The band is back!

The Symphonic Band of Bay Shore-Brightwaters performed their first concert of the summer on Wednesday, July 6. This year marks the band’s 23rd year of serenading the Bay Shore-Brightwaters community. The band, composed of volunteer musicians from teens to seniors, is conducted by Joel Levy, and former cultural arts director at Bay Shore Schools, Terry Nigrelli. The group played music from movies, patriotic music, and even some Broadway pieces. The band will be back on July 20 and July 27 at 7:30 p.m. Meters will be suspended for these concerts, which take place at the bandshell on Main Street in Bay Shore.
