Playa Bowls, the nation's leading superfruit bowl shop known for its laid-back, surf-inspired vibe and delicious healthy offerings, has officially signed a lease to bring its unique brand to Station Yards in Ronkonkoma. With over 200 locations nationwide, the new 1,445-square-foot location at 9 Hawkins Avenue, suite 3101, is expected to open its doors in early Spring, providing residents and visitors with a fresh and nutritious dining option reminiscent of coastal living.

Playa Bowls Ronkonkoma Owner Gary Yip and Victoria Yip expressed their enthusiasm for joining the Station Yards community: "We are excited to join the Ronkonkoma and Station Yards community.  We are committed to serving the freshest acai bowls, smoothies, and juices.  We look forward to becoming a part of Ronkonkoma and being a positive addition to this area! As we progress towards an opening date, we hope people will follow @playabowlsronkonkoma on Instagram to learn about our big grand opening plans."

Gary and Victoria Yip were represented in the transaction by Jason Sobel and Juliana Chiarelli of Ripco Real Estate. Jason Sobel commented, "Station Yards is quickly becoming one of the most dynamic developments on Long Island. Playa Bowls' addition to the project perfectly fits the area's growing community and focus on health and wellness."

TRITEC, the developer behind Station Yards, was represented by Maria Valanzano, Steve D'Orazio, and Jake Horowitz of Colliers. Maria Valanzano added, "We only have a few available spaces left in the current phase of this exciting mixed-use, transit-oriented environment. We are proud to fill one of those spaces with Playa Bowls, a tenant that aligns perfectly with the vision of Station Yards as a vibrant, community-focused destination. We welcome them to the development and look forward to their positive impact."

Meaghan Coughlan Treat, Development Manager for TRITEC, also shared her excitement about the new addition. "We are so thankful that Playa Bowls chose Station Yards as their home. They bring a delicious and healthy option to our community, representing a lifestyle, energy, and appeal that helps Station Yards grow as an extraordinary destination."
