On December 22 William Floyd Middle School students participated in the “Shop with a Cop” program courtesy of a grant provided by the new Walmart Supercenter in Yaphank. Sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students joined officers from the Suffolk County Police Department Seventh Precinct for an evening of shopping for members of their school community in need. They had a great time and special thanks to the officers, the Walmart Super Center and the students and staff who took part in this event.
