Motorcyclist seriously injured in Bay Shore crash

UPDATE: SCPD has released that Victor Nigro, the man who was injured in a motorcycle crash in Bay Shore on April 24, has died.

Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcycliston Sunday, April 24, police said in a statement. 

Victor Nigro was riding a 2021 KTM Motorcycle in the parking lot of Gardiner Manor Elementary School, located at 125 Wohseepee Drive, when he lost control of the motorcycle at 2:42 p.m., police said. 

Nigro, 65, of Bay Shore, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
