Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Bay Shore on Thursday, August 22.
A man entered TD Bank, located at 479 Montauk Highway in Bay Shore, at 9:45 a.m. verbally demanded cash and threatened violence. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot with cash.
The robber was described as Black with a thin build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark sweatpants.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852- 6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
