Keeping neighbors warm this winter

On Sunday, Oct. 17, the Community Exchange of Central Islip hosted a coat drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot across from AutoZone in Central Islip. At 9 a.m., individuals dropped off gently used coats, hats, gloves and scarves to help others in the community. The free event also featured a food drive and popcorn and cotton candy for anybody with a sweet tooth.
