Get into the Christmas spirit with St. Mark’s!

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, located in Islip, has been a driving force within the community for over 150 years. Members of the church value togetherness, community, and outreach. St Mark’s outreach programs include food collection, their thrift shop, camp color, and the Episcopal Church Women (ECW).

Their annual Christmas Bazaar is one of the many events St. Mark’s hosts that bring Long Islanders together. This year, the Christmas Bazaar will take place on Dec. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be hosted at the church, which is located at 754 Montauk Highway in Islip (across from the Oconee Diner).

All are invited to stop by and look around. Fully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, jewelry, housewares, linens, toys, ornaments, craft items, and vintage goods are just some of the items being sold this year. There will also be a raffle lottery.

In addition, there will be the popular Bake Table and Cookie Walk, full of homemade treats. Along with baked goods, people can go upstairs to buy hot dogs, chips, assorted sandwiches, desserts, and homemade clam chowder—either New England or Manhattan-style for lunch.
