On Monday August 2, Suffolk County Police arrested Ismael Rodriguez-Rosado of East Islip for fatally shooting another man outside a Central Islip bar.
Police said Rodriguez Rosado fatally shot German Ramirez after the two became involved in an argument on the property of Mi Nuevo Encanto, located at 65 Carleton Avenue. Police said the two were known to each other prior to the altercation.
Ramirez, 31, of Bay Shore, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Rodriguez-Rosado fled the scene and was located by responding officers a short time later. Rodriguez-Rosado, 27, of 53B Washington St., was charged with Murder 2nd Degree and was held overnight at the Third Precinct for arraignment on August 3 at First District Court in Central Islip.
