Suffolk County Police arrested Rene Chevalley after he threatened a group of teenagers with a shotgun on Bell Avenue in Blue Point on April 16.
A group of four teenagers were participating in an Easter themed school fundraiser and were standing in the front yard of a residence on Bell Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. when Chevalley pointed a shotgun at the teens and demanded they stop.
He was charged with four counts of Menacing 2nd Degree and three counts of Acting in a Manner Injurious of a Child.
Chevalley, 58, of Bell Avenue in Blue Point, was held overnight and was arraigned the following day at First District Court in Central Islip.
