Barney the missing bull found at last

Barney, the 1,500 pound bull that escaped from a farm in  Manorville  in July has been found in Moriches.  

Suffolk County police said Barney will be sent to Skyland Animal Sanctuary in New Jersey  to live out the rest of his days. 

Barney caused quite a stir as he evaded capture  for months despite a rescue group using a menstruating cow  to try and lure him as well as  setting up a pen filled with grain. 

Barney also closed parts of Sunrise Highway during his escapades.  He became a local and national sensation for his inability to be found.
