Back-to-school looks

And in the blink of an eye, it’s that time of year again!

As summer winds to a close and the kiddos prepare for the beginning of classes, it’s time to stock up on all the newest gadgets, clothes and accessories for kids and parents alike. The Islip Bulletin checked out some local shops where you can pick up some great back-to-school items.

Newer local brand Northern Nav is also available for purchase at Nalu. The apparel line specializes in nautical-inspired looks.

Whether you’re a high schooler, college student or teacher, Origin of Era in Bay Shore has an amazing selection of cute, small batch and sustainable products. On a recent trip, this reporter was able to pick up an amazing candle for late-night studying sessions, as well as adorable earrings and a headband for adding that extra touch to any outfit. This store, established in 1988, specializes in Irish imports and giftware and carries amazing selection of sweaters.
