A very ‘ghoul’ parade

This year’s annual Brightwaters Halloween Ragamuffin Parade was one of the best yet, with approximately 1,000 individuals joining in on the festivities. At the board of trustees meeting, mayor John Valdini noted that about 50 percent of the participants were local while the other half came from neighboring towns. This year’s parade was held earlier than normal at 5 p.m. so that spectators were able to see all of the great costumes before it got dark.
