Primary Day, April 19


This Tuesday, April 19, the polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Registered Democrats and Republicans from all over New York State will have an opportunity to cast their ballot for their party’s choice for the next president of the United States.

This election is only open to voters who are registered with the aforementioned political parties. Those registered Conservative, Independent, Working Families or with any other political group will have to sit this one out.

Voting will take place at the usual polling place for the various election districts. If you are uncertain where to vote or not sure if you are registered to vote, contact the Suffolk County Board of Elections at 852-4500, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
